Love It: Nutro Crunchy Treats

As we continue to train Athena we have been looking for treats that will motivate her.  Well, it turns out that Athena is EXTREMELY food motivated and will work for pretty much anything.  Our trainer told us about the different levels of treats to use during training and we have experimented with all three.

1. Level 1: Crunchy (Nutro Crunchy Treats, etc.)
2. Level 2: Soft (Zukes Mini Naturals, etc.)
3. Level 3: Human Food (cheese, meat, fruit, veggies, etc.)

We use a mixture of all three levels of treats when training Athena, but have found that she is actually quite satisfied with receiving level 1 treats.  We like this because level 1 treats are often less expensive and much less stinky!

So far our favorite level 1 treats have been the Nutro Crunchy Treats.  We have tried the banana, apple,  and mixed berry.  They also come in carrot, peanut butter, and pomegranate.

These treats actually smell delicious!  We don't mind carrying them around in our pockets because they are so low odor.
