Beautiful! Just found your blog - I'm so jealous you're in Portland! :) Athena's so sweet and she and G are the same size - almost pocket pitties, but not quite!
I'm so glad you found us! In the beginning we thought that Athena might be a pocket pittie because she is SO small, but we realized she is just a petite pittie!!
I never give our dogs the whole window, (I'm a paranoid mom who worries they will jump out,) they usually just get a crack. Braylon stands up on her back feet and tries to squeeze her little head out. Hades always sits and has never once attempted to stand up or look out the winodw. Isn't Athena just cute as always!!???
I'm so paranoid about having the window rolled all the way down too. Athena NEVER gets the whole window! She has stood up on her back feet a few to to get her head up a little further in the window crack, but then I just roll the window all the way up and she sits down. We have been REALLY bad about having her wear her car seatbelt, so I suspect that she will be very unhappy when we start making her wear it!
I always wear a seatbelt but for some reason I just haven't decided if I think my dogs need to wear one. I get that horrifying visual of what would happen if we were in an accident and then I think of how for forever and ever people didn't use them... but then again things change all the time with dog ownership and safety so who knows... I am generally over the top about dog accessories and needs so I'm surprised we haven't purchased any yet...
Hello! Thank you for visiting me yesterday and good luck in the treat contest. :-) It looks like we follow a lot of the same blogs, judging from the blog roll over there. Ray is pretty much the same way, he is not at all about the wind in his face. I will definitely be back to read more about your lives.
So cute! Norman just started sticking his head out the window. It only goes down so far and he rests his neck on the glass...it looks so uncomfortable!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! I can't wait to hear the results of your contest!!
DeleteBoomer and Dottie love having their windows down. Dottie likes her whole head out but like Athena, Boomer likes to sniff the window crack.
ReplyDeleteNo one has jumped out of the car yet, but Dottie did try once when she saw a huge flock of geese, luckily I grabbed her.
Oh goodness! I sure hope that Dottie never jumps out of the window! So scary!

ReplyDeleteMy pibble Bella does a similar move in the backseat. We call it "beakin' out the window". :)
